Healthcare System

Now that you’re settled in, enrolling in the Public Health Care System (“Serviço Nacional de Saúde” or SNS) is essential for accessing healthcare services. If you have family members living with you in Braga, make sure to enrol each of them to obtain their user number (número de utente).

To register, visit the Secretaria Geral do ACES Cávado - I Braga, located at Largo Paulo Orósio, next to the Bombeiros Voluntários de Braga (Firefighters station). The registration process is done on-site by picking up a ticket near the security officer.
